1952 Porsche 356 Streamliner Restoration

In this video we show you initially crash damage repair, to a 1952 split screen 356 Porsche. While repairing the damage, the story emerged from the owner of a life long dream of having a supercharged outlaw Porsche. The car was already transformed many years ago into the ‘Streamliner’ homage of the Le Mans Gmund Porsche racecar.

While it was in our workshop, we noticed that it was in far worse condition than just the crash damage. So, then it was decided to do commence a sympathetic restoration and a colour change. Also, it did not have the correct engine (3 piece case instead of 2 piece case) and the owner pointed out that he had the original engine stored his garage loft in many pieces amongst other Porsche parts including a Judson supercharger which was left in reserve. When I saw this, I knew it had to be used.

While the bodywork and engine were in progress, the owner then decided he might as well fulfil his dreams and have his ultimate outlaw, which lead to the bomber style seats and interior.
