How does the iPhone 12 shoot in Dolby Vision? And is it good?

Bought the new iPhone 12 Pro Max and did some test shots in Dolby Vision HDR, and tested its dynamic range in the hopes to answer the question: how does it work, and does it look any good?

Camera: iPhone 12 Pro Max (except as noted)
Apps: Default iOS Camera, FiLMiC Pro
Editing & Final HDR Assembly: Final Cut Pro X
Color Correction: DaVinci Resolve Studio
Microphone: Røde VideoMic Me-L Camera Mounted
Audio Cleanup: Izotope RX 7
