2003-08-01-03 POTB Speeder trip parts 12 & 13 - Buxton - Tillamook - Buxton

The following (combined) 2 videos I shot on August 3rd 2003 as a passenger on my very first speeder trip.

Cresting the Coast Range mountains we slowly descend back to the valley floor but not before we transverse many bridges and enjoy the coolness of several tunnels. There are no roads here, just trees, rivers, creeks, and the rails until we reach Timber and pass its now removed Wig-wag.

Crossing over Hwy 26 and two more large trestles, I knew the time was short for the remainder of the trip. Buxton was fast approaching. Some speeders take the main, some take the now clear siding. Setoff begins and friends help out in getting everything loaded up and ready to go home...or the next run. After the hot trip and even hotter setoff temperatures, Sparky relaxes in the coolness of the AC, ready to head home.
Total round trip mileage was 151 miles. I have re-uploaded this video providing higher quality and added a deshaking technique to stabilize the video. The combined comments of the 12th and 13th videos are below.
