🔴 HUYGENS' Principle or Wave Theory || in HINDI

In this Physics video lecture in Hindi we explained Huygens' principle or Huygens' wave theory of light. We discussed on the secondary wavelets, the primary wavefront and the secondary wavefront.
Huygens proposed that every point to which a luminous disturbance reaches becomes a source of a spherical wave known as secondary wavelet; the sum of these secondary waves determines the form of the wave at any subsequent time. He assumed that the secondary waves traveled only in the forward direction; he did not explain the reason. Later, Woldemar Voigt and Gustav Robert Kirchhoff gave a mathematical expression for the same.
Huygens' principle is crucial to explain wave like properties of electromagnetic waves, like interference, diffraction etc.
