Bluebirds aggressively attack a Cowbird!!!

The bluebirds trapped and attacked the cowbird in the box. The video is over 13 minutes long but amazing to watch. (Warning: It does get a little graphic.) Eventually, when I saw what was going on in real time and it became clear that the bluebirds would not let the cowbird leave I opened the top of the box to allow the cowbird to escape.

The cowbird had laid an egg and after the cowbird had escaped, the bluebird tried to damage the egg that was left behind.
