What Foods Actually Build Muscle Fast?

Hitting the leucine threshold is powerful.
But what most people miss is timing.

Your muscles are not constantly sensitive to protein.
They go through “windows” where they respond… and periods where they become resistant.

This is called the muscle full effect.
After a solid protein feed, muscle protein synthesis rises, peaks, then drops back down even if amino acids are still in your blood.

So more protein straight after does not mean more growth.

What does matter is spacing.
Around 3 to 5 hours between protein-rich meals tends to resensitise the muscle, allowing that leucine signal to actually work again.

It is one of the simplest ways to get more from the same amount of food.

Same protein. Better result.

Worth thinking about how your meals are spaced across the day, not just what is in them.
