Wilding Wallbeds Finishing Process

James explains the Wilding Wallbeds finishing process.

Transcript

James- “Right now we have 26 standard stains that we keep constantly stocked up. We have our mixing area in the back, where we can pretty much match any color that the customers want.”

“This color here is our Driftwood, for this one, after it has been sanded and prepped for our color, we apply our Driftwood finish to it. We spray it on, then we wipe it off with a rag.”

“Before we seal it we double check for any scratches, anything like that, any rag marks, anything we can fix, we fix before it gets sealed.”

“After it gets sealed this is that part that I am on now, where I am smoothing it out and prepping it for the top coat. Making sure that it is nice and smooth, so that way the customer gets a nice, smooth finished product.”

“We stick it into the lacquer booth. It’s going to get a top coat on it, and then we let it dry. And before it is done we give it a final inspection to make sure that everything is smooth, and that it has a nice, even finish coat on it. And that we allow it adequate time for it to dry before we ship it or send it to the customer for install.”
