My First Wildlife Conservation Project | Sea Turtles of Sri Lanka

I wanted to share one of the most meaningful experiences of my life, volunteering in a sea turtle conservation project in Sri Lanka.

From midnight beach patrols in the Dehiwala–Mount Lavinia coastal area to protecting nests and watching tiny hatchlings return to the ocean, this journey completely changed the way I see nature and conservation.

Sri Lanka is home to several species of marine turtles, and protecting them is more important than ever due to pollution, habitat destruction, and climate change.

This video is not just about turtles.
It’s about responsibility, conservation, and the beauty of protecting life.
