Blue Marble -Blender Earth Animation

My first public video! :D

How's it blendering, everyone? I finally finished the animation that i've been working on for...um... a (not so) long time. It's a quick animation of earth with multiple shots and camera angles.

To all you science fans out there (people like me), I have to say, that this is not a 100% accurate depiction of earth. But you can still post comments regarding the scientific flaws in this animation.

Technical stuff:
The entire animation was rendered with cycles, sooo I think it's safe to say, that it took longer to render the whole animation than to create it.

The scene contains over 438,000 vertices and extremely heavy texture maps (the texture used on the moon is a 16k .tif image), because of that, the first shot had to be rendered in my CPU.

I had to deal with many heavy video files and images, so the folder where I stored most of the files related to this animation is around 67,3 GiB.

By the way, I also made the music you hear in the background. I couldn't find any non-copyrighted piano music that would suit this scene.
