Honda CB650R Review 2019

The Honda CB650R is a solid first bike choice for those looking for a fun bike in the stripped down neo sports café styling. The CB650R is easy to ride and not intimidating enabling the rider to quickly get to grips with the bike while having good power delivery when you want to have some fun.

The Honda CB650R I test rode had a couple of upgrades. Firstly the CB650R Akrapovic Exhaust which has a real nice tone to it and definitely has an impact to filtering. The Honda cb650r quickshifter upgrade was also on this test bike which was easy to use and I think a bargain upgrade for the cost. The debate would be whether a new rider should have a quickshifter or build up muscle memory with a standard clutch.

The LCD screen on the CB650R stood out as pretty good. Nice colours, clear and easy to see even though it was a sunny day. The riding position on the CB650R is a bit bent forward but not excessive.

If this styling of bike is of interest then I would say its definitely worth having a test ride of it and seeing how you get on.
