Planting at the proper seed depth is critical for root development. In this video, George Kadrmas, DEKALB Asgrow Technical Agronomist for Southeast Iowa, explains why he recommends farmers to plant at a depth of two inches for corn and some of the potential consequences of planting too shallow.
