Artie the mini dachshund bothered by a prickly in his paw

We went on a walk and Artie came back with a prickly in his paw. Unfortunately, it was really wedged in between two of his paw pads. I couldn't see it, so poor Artie kept licking and licking at it. My husband was able to see the prickly and got it out. Artie was just fine after that!!!!
