Valentine's Day Shaker Card DIY

Surprise your valentine with a super sweet handmade shaker card on Valentine's Day! In this video I show you how to create a card with a window featuring moving hearts. This DIY is easier than it looks and is sure to impress the receiver. Expand for more detailed instructions.

Materials
- White Blank Card
- White Card Stock
- Heart Cutouts/Sprinkles
- Clear Plastic Sheet
- Thick Double Sided Tape
- Pen Knife

Steps
Measure out the card stock so that it fits the front of the card. You can do this by tracing the front of the card onto the card stock. Measure out a box in the centre, this will be the viewing window. Cut out the inner box with a pen knife and pop out the box. Get a clear piece of plastic and measure so that it covers the inner window. use double sided tape to place the plastic on the side of the card stock that won't be viewed.

Cut thick double sided tape so that it fits around the window. Make sure there are no gaps, as your shaker contents may fall out if there are. Also check that the tape wall is tall enough to allow the contents to move around. Add the contents and seal by placing the card on top.
