***Please make sure you do your own due diligence in regards to COVID requirements as well when planning to cross borders. I try to keep these descriptions up to date with current information, but I was on this trip in 2021 and with COVID requirements can change at any time.***

As of March 29, 2021…

If you are fully vaccinated you no longer need a PCR test to enter. You need proof of full vaccination.
If you are not fully vaccinated you still need to provide proof of a negative RT-PCR test administered within 72 hours prior to when you arrive in El Salvador.
