In an effort to help protect Peru's Manú National Park from illegal logging, National Geographic photographer Charlie Hamilton James bought a section of rain forest on the edge of the park. What would transpire after this purchase would lead him on a quest for truth to better understand the people behind the Amazon's destruction.
