Last year, I studied for the SAT everyday in August using a couple of books, websites, a study plan, and ofc REDDIT. As someone who considers herself a bad standardized test-taker, I thought I was a hopeless case at the SAT UNTIL I found out about the right way to study for it. Hope my tips are of help to you all! Reality is if I didn't hardcore study for the SAT, I wouldn't have even been considered by my dream school. Work ya butt off, and it'll be worth it. Happy Studying! ✨💖

Disclaimer: Yes, I understand that 1380 is definitely no 1500 or above and trust me I used to beat myself up for not getting at least a 1400, but after getting into my dream school, I now realize that the SAT is not the end-all-be-all of your college application (essays matter guys and gals!) Not gonna lie tho, it's kind of embarassing to put up my score for the internet to see BUT I made this video because I wanted to let all the kids with low SAT scores know that you can still improve yourself and get better at the SAT!! The SAT is all about how well you study/strategize for it, rather than how smart you are at face value. So, no you are not dumb, you just gotta study the right way.
