His Day Out

Due to a misunderstanding, a barber named Billy, a Charlie Chaplin lookalike, is taken away by the police. He escapes, and a comic chase scene ensues. He then encounters the barber and his daughter, whom he fancies. He accompanies the daughter to the barber shop, and clumsily helps some customers; for example, he removes someone’s beard with a vacuum cleaner. At a hair stylists’ event later on, all of the angry customers and the police are on hand. Billy runs away quickly, and the crowd then goes in pursuit.
