This AOE2 chinese archer rush build order is a good option for the chinese. due to the extra starting villagers, this archer rush advances at 24 population, the equivalent of 22 population with other civs and also enables you to wall your base easily. It also allows you to set up your economy to transition in to chu-ko-nu later in the game as you will already have blacksmith upgrades for them. I like to use this archer rush AOE2 chinese build order to transition in to knights upon reaching the castle age and use a kinght/skirmisher army composition.

An archer rush in age of empires 2 is a great strategy for beginners, however the chinese start makes this much more difficult for lower level players so it is probably more of an intermediate level build order. It can be quite vulnerable to a drush or man at arms rush or even an early scout rush so you have to make sure you can wall your base quickly enough. Also, with the early walling that happens in the current meta, you may find that your opponent is fully walled by the time you reach them. if that happens, you will want to harass the enemy woodlines and try to pick off villagers or at least slow down the enemy economy with your archers.
