Confusing conditioning: Classical and operant

In this lecture, Eastern Illinois University psychologist Jeffrey Stowell, PhD, reviews the differences between positive and negative reinforcement and positive and negative punishment (14:13), explaining how to distinguish easily between the four different categories. Through numerous examples, he explains how teachers and students can recognize all of the seemingly difficult variations.
