This is an OC PMV based on a story happening via rp in a private server. I will do my best to break down the story for curious viewers! I made this pmv for my friends in the server; thank you all so much for writing such amazing stories with me.
Duskwatcher was the leader of CanyonClan, a clan who until recently was at brutal war with their neighbouring clan AspenClan. At the Start of the PMV we see Duskwatcher walking past the death murals of his predecessors, Sandstar and Aspenwatcher, with their ghosts watching over him. Aspenwatcher’s ghost is destroyed, an allusion to his murder at the hands of Duskwatcher. He walks through his clanmates and reaches his leader’s ledge above them all, climbing to the top. Then we see the leader and deputy duo’s of the other clans, angry. We then cut to a flashback to during the war when Duskwatcher was a warrior (Duskfall), brutally taking down enemies. His children wear the sins of their father via this bloodshed, but also take power from it.
We then see Aspenwatcher the moment before his death, commanding Duskfall to take the life of a clanmate Aspenwatcher deemed a murderer, but Duskfall refused. Instead, that clanmate gives Duskfall the yew berries needed to kill Aspenwatcher, and in doing so Duskfall becomes leader, announcing his ascension at a Gathering much to the horror of the other clans.
Flash back again to the moment Aspenwatcher made Duskfall his deputy, then showing Duskfall’s former apprentice Jasperchasm. Jasper knows what Duskfall is capable of and flees his clan.
Then we flash forward to the moment Duskwatcher is confronted for taking a mate from another clan, but he is unapologetic. He is incredibly proud of his brutal actions in the war, and misses the thrill.
We then show Duskwatcher stalking coyotes with his clanmates, but the scene changes back to the war as he bites down to the moment he murdered a cat called Slatefall in front of her daughter Palepaw. Palepaw attacks, giving him his signature scar, and he attacks back giving her hers. Though he is injured, he is undefeated, and when the coyote injures him he kills it and realizes nothing and nobody can touch him.
However, from the shadows an assassin lurks.
Duskwatcher dons his war paint and takes to the Gathering under a harvest moon (which gives it its’ amber colour). He laughs because he knows everyone is scared of him and nobody can touch him. The assassin strikes, however, and Lilyfire takes his life.
