Shabby Chic Makeovers for 1990s Decor | Decoupage with Napkins | Water Coloring IOD Stamped Designs

Today, we are taking 4 pieces of1990s decor and giving them a Kinda Shabby Chic Makeover! Most of these items can easily be found at yard sales and thrift stores fairly inexpensively. These decor items will be all get a fresh coat of paint. The jewelry box will be painted in Waverly Chalk Paint from Walmart in the colors Ivory and Ballet Slipper. The remaining pieces are painted in Rustoleum Chalk Paint in Linen White.
The planter gets a quick distressing with sandpaper to bring out those beautiful details.
The jewlery box gets rubbed with a candle to make distressing easier. I saw this technique with Teresa from the youtube channel Our Greene Acres. We then apply a beautiful contact paper and lace trim to the inside of the lid.
The storage drawers get decoupaged with Mod Podge and beautiful Spode napkins I found at Tuesday Morning.
Finally, we use a child's water color palette to paint our gorgeous IOD Rose Toile stamps.
