DIY 12V Lithium Battery Pack Part 1

In this video I show how to take apart a couple of cheap laptop batteries and assemble them into a 12 volt battery pack that can be hooked to a power inverter and can deliver up to 300 watts. In the next video in this series I will do battery capacity testing.

I don't have all the links for this since the world of online shopping is constantly changing in removed products and in pricing.
For the batteries just look up "12 Cell laptop battery" on amazon or ebay you should be able to find them for around $20 or less. I managed to get mine on sale for $10.
I used XT60 connectors for mine again look up "XT60 connector pairs" on amazon or ebay and find the best price. You should be able to get 5 pairs (male and female) for fairly cheap.
You will also need a "3s lipo balance extension cable" a 3s lipo balance cable will have 4 wires on again just search for it on amazon or ebay and find the best price.
You will also end up needing some 10-12 AWG wire.
