The New York Islanders were a dynasty in the 1980’s winning 4 in a row. That whole team alone should be classified as an all-time greats team. For the sake of this, we will be looking over the history of the Isles, including the fishstick era, for the greatest players in their notable history. As usual for these lists and lineup, some players will be exempt. For example, Wayne Gretzky is the greatest player of all time, right? But he wouldn't be on the St. Louis Blues' team due to him only being there, a very short period of time.
