Will it Run? Episode 20: 1953 Ford Customline! Part 1 of 3

Hey! Cold War Motors just thought we should try to get this old Ford Customline to go... It has been sitting around and hasn't been started in probably over 30 years. It's equipped with the famous flathead V8 engine, the final version for the Ford models at 239 cubes.

I picked up this nice old girl last year and I just got to it this summer... It's a pretty decent, savable car with all of its original equipment intact and still wearing its original 2-tone metallic green paint job. Let's get it to go, Stella wants a ride...

In part one we'll try to find a few critical engine parts and put a distributor together from parts and set it up on our new distributor testing machine...
Parts 2 &3 should be up soon; I just thought I'd get Part One up as soon as it was ready...

Also: There will be at least one, possibly two more installments coming in the Frazer series before we wrap that one up and start on something else old and beat up.
