This is how I shave to avoid razor bumps in the Air Force. Being a black man, I've dealt with shaving bumps for years. I tried special blades, special creams, and none of it worked. Actually I started out with the Braun Series 5 (https://amzn.to/3vk2ID2), but I eventually worked my way up to the Braun series 9. I am not on a shaving waiver, with no religious reasons why I cannot shave, so I have to shave my face everyday. This thing changed my life. I don't get bumps anymore. It is a little expensive, but it's definitely worth every penny to protect your face from the burn.
