Episode 1: Is AI AppSec Really a Solved Problem?

A lot of AI security companies are making a bold claim: their models can find vulnerabilities, fix them, and make AppSec feel like a solved problem.

But is that actually true, or is it just strong marketing?

In Episode 1, we introduce the experiment. We built three versions of the same application using AI, set up agents to find and fix security issues, and repeated the cycle six times to see what would really happen.

The result was not what we expected.

This series looks at the gap between AI security promises and real-world AppSec outcomes, including vulnerability discovery, remediation quality, false positives, fix validation, and whether AI-generated fixes actually make applications more secure.
