DEVO Live New Years Eve 12/31/1990 Pleasure Island Orlando

Disney's Pleasure Island hosted a New Years Eve bash on December 31st, 1990 featuring Otis Day & The Nights (The band from the famous toga party scene in the film 'Animal House'), The Village People and DEVO, who were promoting the 'Smooth Noodle Maps' album. They perform a fun set, marred only by a drum issue at the onset and the handheld footage that is a bit shaky. FYI... DEVO performed a second set later (which was not recorded) that was totally different from the first set. I don't have that track listing but do recall starting with Freedom of Choice, Come Back Jonee, Smart Patrol /Mr. DNA and Jocko Homo being performed as Mark ran amok through the crowd.

There's something so right about hearing 'Uncontrollable Urge' and 'Mongoloid' during a Disney event.
