In this clip, Bill Duke speaks on the rise of poverty and homelessness in America, noting that it's heartbreaking that on average 22 veterans commit suicide every day. From there, the conversation shifts towards the importance of financial literacy, as they even recall the career of comedian Dick Gregory, whose family had to start a GoFundMe for his funeral arrangements despite his decorated career. Interestingly enough, Bill Duke notes that Hugh Hefner was the one who gave Gregory his first break in comedy, making him the first black comedian to play in front a white audience in New York City.

Elsewhere in the interview, Duke also shares his thoughts on the allegations surrounding Michael Jackson, adding that he never met Michael but says they had mutual friends who deny the allegations.
