"I wrote this song when the Occupy Wall Street movement started in September 2011, because I saw a simple but strong truth in the way people came together. They didn't have a unified political agenda, but they had unifying message, a desire for justice. As various groups and personalities got involved there were many voices and many views. The critics jumped on the issue of "lack of focus" as if that was a weakness. I saw it as a starting point for dialogue, expression, learning. So I wanted to contribute this song to the dialogue, to add another voice to our big messy human family. I asked friends here in Austin to help me record it, which was a messy but fun process in itself. Thanks to everyone who put their energy into it. We'll be here." - PK Sax & Company
