"Impressions/Expressions" Group Exhibition with Erin Lee Gafill and Gerard Martin

Gerard Martin and Erin Lee Gafill are known for their exuberant, color-rich oil paintings celebrating California’s Central Coast. The new oil paintings in this show weave their unique artistic influences into a triumphant whole.

Martin’s impressionist paintings of coast, harbor, sailboats, and the life of the bay share the wall with Gafill’s expressionist works that investigate coastline, mountainside, and valley. Both use strong color to convey emotion, connection, and portray a unique sense of place.
