Family of FIVE goes OFF GRID in ABANDONED RV!

As we continue our journey toward finishing our Airstream renovation and building an "off gridish" homestead, we have been fortunate to meet others who have blazed the trail before us. One of them is Matt Smith, our former neighbor in the Seattle area. We met up with him on our last day living in the city before moving to the countryside on the eastern slope of the Cascades. He told us all about his family's hard work renovating an abandoned RV in the woods, which they lived in while they built a house themselves.
