You thought Artificer was OP? Tempest solo no focus NM all trials vs Hakkon Dragon

Dragon Age Inquisition Tempest bow class on Nightmare difficulty with all trials and solo.

This build relies on Throwing Blades with the upgrade to give a 25% damage increase if it strikes the same enemy. I've heard a lot of people saying Tempest is relatively weak compared to the other classes late game but I just wanted to show how strong the class is basically at all stages of the game using this combo.

Normally I would have Poison Weapons with the Heal upgrade but here I just set it to give a small damage boost, not necessary but I didn't want to heal for Enhanced Belt of Urgency to increase my attack speed.

I use Flask of Lightning for nothing more than to get the extra 3 seconds on Flask of Fire from the Ride the Storm passive. Almost every other ability is unnecessary for this particular fight I just came into the fight with whatever I already had equipped. I actually didn't prepare for this fight I don't even have a damage boost enchantment on my armor it's just what I normally run when playing through the game solo. My weapon just has a basic fire rune too.
So I normally when playing the game solo have Walking Fortress on my armor because honestly I think it's the best enchantment you can get. I went all Dexterity on my armor because Cunning is not efficient at giving crit chance and Dex gives not only a .5% Attack increase but also 1% crit damage increase per point. For anything that has utility slot I go Dex, for anything that has an attack slot I got crit chance. Then for the helm nothing beats mask of Duchess for crit chance and I have everything set to crit chance on my bow.

For my accessories I have Malika's Guard which is one of the best amulets for rogue unless you go for a flank build. Enhanced Belt of Urgency is crazy good with this build since it does increase Throwing Blades speed. I got a ring of slicing just for some extra crit chance and crit damage and a Throwing Blades ring to increase Throwing Blades damage by 30%

As for abilities I find the Dodge skill with the Tresspasser upgrade amazing since you can zip around like crazy with Flask of Fire for repositioning in bad spots. I went down the left side of Poison Weapons tree for Toxic Cloud's elusive upgrade which helped a lot when soloing the rest of Jaws of Hakkon which is quite troublesome due to their exponential damage increases with Hakkon's wrath debuff. I have Leaping Shot with the stealth upgrade just for damage and free stealth. I went down the right side of bows just for Pincushion which gives you a 5% damage increase for every attack you do. This actually DOES work with Throwing Blades I just assume anything that does weapon damage while you have a bow equipped will proc Pincushion.

I am level 26 on this file because of the Trials but my next ability would be to finish off the Tempest tree and get Killer's Alchemy for a bit of extra damage.
