I'm not going to lie, these past week has been really disheartening.
I finished recording this cover and just as I was editing it I got the notification that a bunch of my covers got blocked worldwide and that hit pretty hard.
I felt discouraged in continuing to do covers for a bit but so many of you tried to encourage me to continue and so I thought I could at least finish this cover and put it up.
As I write this, I actually already knew this cover won't go live simply due to copyright so I'm hoping a different platform would allow me to publish it.

I won't stop making covers.
Yes, the situation is frustrating and I always knew, going into this hobby, that this could happen but yet, it still sucked.
I think what sucked the most is the fact some of the videos blocked have been live for YEARS, the earliest one being Polaris - Boku No Hero and latest - Haruka Kanata.
If a video gets blocked right as I put it up, I don't feel so bad but once it racked so much attention and inspired so many people, the video being taken down really hits low.

Anyway, I don't want to continue rambling, I just wanted to get this off my chest.

As for this video - I've spent A LOT of time working on my double kicks in the past 2 months.
I have no shame to admit I really struggled to hit those speeds and that I still have a long way to go but I've found some really good tutorials online that finally showed me the way to grow and improve as a drummer.
I do want to use this as an example to anybody who thinks I'm invincible behind the kit - I'm not!!
At all!
I'm just a person like all of you..
I'm still learning along with all of you; it might seem like I'm further ahead but you can never be good enough, you can always add something to your plate regardless of genre and style.
Discipline and dedication is key to anything.
Whatever your goal is, do your best!
