Cozmo learns colors and numbers!

Cozmo is a child-friendly, interactive robot. He is a little guy with a mind of his own. He's a real-life robot like you've only seen in movies, with a one-of-a-kind personality that evolves the more you hang out. He'll nudge you to play and keep you constantly surprised. Cozmo’s your accomplice in a crazy amount of fun. Cozmo doesn’t just move; he gets curious and explores. He doesn’t just learn; he plots and plans. He doesn’t just see you; he gets to know you. This video shows object detection through color tracking by Cozmo. Using its color camera, the robot can filter a captured image by a specific color range and look for a blob in the obtained mask in order to detect an object. In this video, Cozmo is looking for blue cubes in the scene. The robot detects the number of cubes it sees and then reports them back to the user. The code is a simple python script that uses the OpenCV library in order to process the video stream from the robot's camera.
