Durga Shakti Nagpal, an IAS officer known for her grit and gumption, talks about her life experiences and how they have shaped her as a person. She urges the audience to appreciate their lives and understand the importance of living life to the fullest. Ms Durga Sakthi Nagpal is a 2009 UPSC Civil Services batch IAS officer, who is known for being fearless when it comes to uncovering illegal activities.
During her 14 months tenure in Punjab, she unearthed a land scam in Mohali as a trainee IAS Officer. Also, she shook up the illegal mining industry when she uncovered illegal sand-mining in the Yamuna and Hindon river bank. She is continuing her exemplary work as an Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister, Government of India. She began this new role in 2015 and she is determined to cover many more milestones and remain an inspiration for others.
