Dodge Ram Cummins Front Driveshaft Rebuild Part 2 Reassembly

Welcome to part 2 of the second generation 96 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins front driveline rebuild. This video contains part numbers for seals bearings and u-joints to rebuild a double cardan front drive shaft. I also go through how I chose to install the new parts using a mixture of a vice and hammer. I also had a part fitment issue were a u-joint from a 97, 98, 99 Dodge Ram(precision 458) fit my 96 Dodge Ram, but the front u-joint for the 94, 95, 96 Dodge Ram model year (precision 316) did not fit. The ball joint dust boot used spicer 2-86-418 and the ball joint with seal was precision 617. The double cardan used precision u-joint 354.
