I've been weaving a giant web out of wire in the woods at the Food Museum in Stowmarket
(formerly the Museum of East Anglian Life).

'We Are All Connected' will be a giant 'web of life' sculpture made of wire and food related metal items.

Wire is used to bind everything together and suspend all the elements of the sculpture aloft, including intricately detailed riverside fauna and flora.

Wire represents the interconnectedness of all things.

Metal cutlery and kitchen utensils emphasise the theme of food, in reference both to the food web and the Food Museum.

Eight artists have been commissioned to create riverside sculptures for the new trail, which launches on 22nd June 2022 and remains on permanent display at the Food Museum, celebrating the rich biodiversity of the surrounding riverland area.

My web of life will be populated with more than a dozen animals and plants, each one sculpted out of the most unlikely things!

How many will you spot?

We are all connected.
