In this vlog, I leave the luxury hotel behind and somehow end up kayaking through Jakarta’s mangroves surrounded by monkeys, crocodiles, bamboo bridges, hidden hammocks and absolute chaos 😭 From crossing Jakarta’s busy streets to getting lost in the mangrove forest, this honestly turned into one of the most unexpected and beautiful adventures ever.

If you’re visiting Jakarta and looking for unique things to do beyond the city, I would genuinely recommend exploring the mangroves at Taman Wisata Alam Angke Kapuk. It felt like stepping into a completely different world hidden inside Jakarta — from kayaking through the mangrove forest to spotting monkeys, bamboo walkways, hidden hammocks and even crocodiles 🐊

This was one of my favourite travel experiences in Indonesia and such a peaceful escape from the busy city.
