2020 TOYOTA RAIZE OFFICIAL LAUNCH DATE, PRICE, MILEAGE, ALL DETAILS

The first images of the Toyota Raize subcompact SUV have been leaked online, much before you were supposed to see it. The Raize is scheduled to make its global debut on November 5, 2019, in Japan and the sub 4-metre SUV shares its underpinnings with the Daihatsu Rocky small SUV that was revealed at the Tokyo Motor Show this month. Both models are based on the Daihatsu New Global Architecture (DNGA), a low-cost derivative of the Japanese auto giant's TNGA platform that underpins most of the brand's new vehicle range. The Toyota Raize will take on the Nissan Kicks, Hyundai Venue, Ford EcoSport.

Engine: The Japanese-spec TOYOTA RAIZE is powered by a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine mated to a CVT automatic gearbox. It is tuned to produce 98PS and 140Nm.

Interior: This RAIZE 5-seater sub-4m SUV features an all black interior with red accents in the top-spec variant. The rear seats split fold 60:40 and the middle occupant gets a headrest too.

Features: TOYOTA RAIZE is a well equipped offering with features such as a 7-inch digital display in the instrument cluster, a 9-inch freestanding touchscreen infotainment system, auto AC, cruise control, and more.

Rivals: If Toyota were to introduce the Raize, or a similar sub-4m SUV offering in India, it would compete against the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport and Mahindra XUV300.
