1943 Psychological case study of Robert: an average suburban middle-class preschooler

This is an abridged version of a rather wild ride that is the full film which spans several hours, and follows Robert from age 2-7. Feels very much like "The Truman Show". Robert is subject to various projective tests, such as the "stick unit", and we are given insights such as "the stick of course, represents the less interesting aspects of life" by the narrators (who employ a wonderfully pronounced trans-atlantic accent). Film includes a weird lengthy re-enactment or Roberts family life with dolls by the film director.
