Visit Bruges at Night with The Way Away (Belgium Travel Vlog) | Eileen Aldis Travel Channel

Bruges Belgium travel guide for night-time! We met up with our friends, Ashley and Josh, who are also travel vloggers! Their channel is called The Way Away. We first met them in Mexico when we started this nomadic adventure. It’s so cool that our paths crossed again around the world in Bruges of all places! They came to our Airbnb to hang out for a bit before we all headed out after dark for a Bruges night walking tour. This was a great way to see the city and get a lot of different information and insights about the local history and culture. Walking tours are such a great way to get yourself oriented in a new place. My favourite part of this particular tour (which I’ll link below) was hearing about the origins of phrases from the medieval period that we still use today. Things like ‘throwing money out of the window’ and ‘stinking rich’ and ’s***-faced.’ We also heard some ghost stories about hauntings around Bruges that persist today. After the tour we went back to our place and ordered pizza! It was a great chance to warm up and we had all worked up an appetite after walking around. It was so wonderful to hang out with the Way Away and hear all about the adventures they’ve had since we last saw them. We hope you enjoyed the night walking tour of Bruges Belgium!
