Building a house in Thailand.

As a professional carpenter and builder in the UK, I was able to complete most of the build by myself over a 2 year period. I made use of both Thai methods of construction, mixed with Western methods of construction, to give me a solid build that should last a lifetime.

If you are contemplating building a house in Thailand, or any South Eastern Asian country, I hope some of the tips and general guidance is helpful to you.
I could have gone into much greater detail on the build and the many methods I used for the various stages, but this would have involved too much text and probably not enough room for it.
