The power of 'Sold Out' is an amazing marketing strategy full of social proofing goodness. People like to be influenced by people and feeling like you have missed out on something because you were too slow isn't a good feeling.

So why not book a venue that's too small for your audience deliberately so some of your followers can't get tickets. While this feels like you aren't looking after your fans you better believe that next time you host a gig they will be quicker and they will be telling everyone how quick your tickets sold out!

Why not print a limited run of T-shirts knowing that you will sell them out quicker than you would like and then put a big banner across your facebook saying T-shirts Sold Out, then follow up with a new design.

'Sold Out' - is a way to spread the word that you are doing something great and people are loving it so to get on the band wagon fast!
