Don't Let The Old Man In- Toby Keith (cover) by Dave Morgan

I had been to Canyonlands National Park before. I've done this song in other locations in the U.S.A., but it never seemed right. I kept being drawn to the Canyonlands at Green River Overlook. "On The Edge of Life" seem to stand out as I saw myself sitting on the edge of famous overlook. I spot that takes your breath away. It drew an audience of tourist as I was singing. It seemed to hit them too as a fitting tribute to Toby Keith. Clint Eastwood inspired him with the line "How old would you be if you didn't know how old you are". Toby went back and wrote the song with a few changes. He wrote; "How old would you be, if you didn't know the day you were born". The song ended up in the movie "The Mule".
