Changing the Guard - 12th June 2010

The Corps of Drums break away from the Massed Bands at Buckingham Palace and move to provide musical support for both the Old Guard, headed to Wellington Barracks, and the New Guard, headed to St. James's Palace.

I managed to get the Old Guard returning to Wellington Barracks. The Corps of Drums of the Welsh Guards are seen here playing, "Galanthia." The guardsmen who follow are from the Irish Guards.

This was taken on the day of the Queen's Official Birthday.
