Single Eng & Rudder Trim B737 (Raw)

Rudder trim in a Single Eng operations:

- When you get a V1 cut, remember you don’t have to rotate at Vr, get the airplane under control first then rotate. And rotate at half your normal rate. That is take your time, but make sure you cross the RW end at least at 35ft or more.

- After rotation ask the PM or trim yourself the rudder to initially 5 units towards the good Eng. 4-6 units somewhere their is the sweet spot.

- During descends use LVL CHNG, but to make it easy on yourself adjust the thrust in away to maintain 500fpm sink rate, 200-100 feet before level off start increasing the thrust.

- Use additional manual rudder application to help the A/P and avoid trimming the rudder all the time.
