Bryan High School Viking Band '81-'82
UIL State Marching Contest, Austin Fall '81
It was Class 5A Bryan's 1st year as a corps band after director Pete Rodriguez had reluctantly switched the marching style from military. Bryan managed to top rival and seasoned corps power Temple's performance score at the state level. Percussion 4th chair symphonic all-stater Ruth Van Dyke is on the xylophone.
