How to Connect Android Phone to Smart TV using ONN 4k - Google TV

You can mirror your Android phone to your ONN 4K Google TV using native Google Cast features through the Google Home app, but AirPlay 2 is only for Apple devices and cannot natively mirror Android screens to Google TV.
Important Note About AirPlay 2

AirPlay 2 is designed for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS devices, and Google TV does not natively support it

To mirror an Android phone, you will need to use Google Cast, the built-in Screencast options on Android, or third-party apps like AirDroid Cast

Once you know this, the process is straightforward and wireless.
Step 1: Prepare Your Devices
Connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi network. This is essential for wireless mirroring

Make sure your ONN 4K Google TV is powered on and ready to receive connections. Update it if needed under Settings → System → About → System Update

Step 2: Use Built-in Screencast (Recommended for Android)
Swipe down from the top of your Android phone screen to access Quick Settings.

Look for “Cast,” “Screencast,” or “Smart View” (varies by manufacturer) and tap it

From the list of devices, select your ONN 4K Google TV.
Confirm any prompts on your TV. Your phone screen should now appear on the TV.

To stop mirroring, tap Disconnect or disable the Cast feature on your phone.

Step 3: Use Google Home App (Alternative Method)
Install the Google Home app from the Play Store if not already installed

Open the app and tap the Devices icon. Ensure your Google account is linked.

Find and select your ONN Google TV from the device list.
Tap Cast my screen → Cast screen → Start Now. Your Android screen will appear on the TV.

To end mirroring, go back to Google Home and tap Stop mirroring.
