Female choir "Genti": Silver Jubilee/25th Anniversary
In a packed concert hall of R.I.C.K., school of music in the city of Weert, the Netherlands, GENTI gave their jubilee concert. The main piece of the concert "Folksongs of the Four Seasons" by Ralph Vaughan Williams was a performance of the integral composition (16 songs), beautifully performed not only by the choir, but also by the pianist, Hans Heykers, and the string quintet "Musica Eyckensis" conducted by Rita Scheffers, a skilled choirmaster.

'n Bomvolle concertzaal van RICK ( Regionaal Instituut voor Cultuur- en Kunsteducatie) te Weert. Vocaal Ensemble "GENTI" gaf hier op 27 november 2011 haar jubileumconcert.
Met medewerking van strijkkwartet (-kwintet) "MUSICA EYCKENSIS" en pianist Hans Heykers zong "GENTI" als hoofdonderdeel van het programma de "Folk Songs for the Four Seasons" van Ralph Vaughan Williams, een cyclus bestaande uit 16 liederen verdeeld over de vier jaargetijden.

Rita Scheffers inspireert door haar geheel eigen doch voortreffelijke leiding. We horen hier 't lied "John Barleycorn" uit de "Herfst".
