Demystifying AI - Prof Travis Coan: climate, politics & misinformation

In our upcoming livestream, we're meeting Prof Travis Coan, Professor in Computational Social Science at the University of Exeter.

Travis' research spans a broad range of topics, and examines questions in the areas of environmental and political communication, including how AI can be useful in detecting and analysing misinformation in text and images across politics and climate communication.

Travis is also Co-director of the Centre for Climate Communication and Data Science (C3DS), which conducts research at the intersection of AI, social science, and climate communications to support climate action.
